The Farnsworth Track is a pleasant coastal walking path linking Portsea Surf Beach and London Bridge in the Mornington Peninsula National Park. The natural landscape of the Farnsworth Track gives excellent vantage points to take in the stunning scenery of Portsea Back Beach.

Farnsworth Track Details

Your journey on the Farnsworth track will give you vantage points to view the beautiful natural environment between London Bridge and Portsea Back Beach not to mention a great view of the scenic Portsea Golf Club, as you trek peacefully along the hilltops.

London Bridge is a well known natural rock formation on the Mornington Peninsula about 2km from Portsea, similar to the Twelve Apostles, this monolithic natural structure will take your breath away from lookout points along the Farnsworth Track.

Portsea Back Beach is one of Victoria’s most famous surf beaches and has been regularly used for Australian Iron Man contests, its natural reef and rock formations are intricate and amazing viewing from the vantage point of the Farnsworth Track.

Once you have completed the track you have the freedom to choose whether to go back along the Farnsworth Track or along the Portsea Back Beach to see London Bridge as well as reefs and rock pools up close.

Farnsworth track is accessed from either the car park at the end of London Bridge Rd or Back Beach Rd, Portsea.

Duration

The Farnsworth Track should take less than 2 hours return. Tour times may vary depending on numbers and demand. If you have a preferred time for your group – then be sure to let us know. Groups bookings are tailored to your requirements as much as possible.
