The Mornington Peninsula has much to offer including an abundance of coral and marine life, both rare and beautiful. Depending on which dive site on the day provides the best experience you may see the Weedy Sea Dragon, Seahorses, Nudibranchs, Stingrays and much more!
Boat Dives
Boat dives are a great way to visit even more historical, enchanting or marine life enriched sites. Port Phillip Bay has over 60 different dive spots and boat charter departs from Portsea regularly to visit these sites. Get in touch to organise your seat on the next one!
New to diving or diving in the area?
All new divers to the area are required to do a check out dive prior to boarding a boat. It is highly recommended to get in touch with us first so we can provide the right advice and assistance. Oh, and don’t forget to bring a buddy!
Dive Gear Rental and Air fills
Heading out to the local shore dive spots or planning a dive on a charter or private boat? We can rent out all the dive gear you will need to go out for the whole day! We can provide tanks included in the hire or refill personal ones; all private tanks must be in service.
Change areas and showers
Our shop is located across the road from the Portsea Pier. Guests who have rented equipment or returning from tours with us are welcome to use our hot outdoor showers and private changing areas.
Guided Dive
Prior to boat diving, we highly recommend a guided shore dive with us to visit the Sea Dragon colony, it’s an opportunity not to be missed! This will give you the chance to get familiar with our tidal bay, sort out your buoyancy and check your gear before heading out on a boat.
Double Dives
Looking for a full day experience? We offer the option for a double dive, 1x morning and 1x afternoon with time of a lunch break in between. Call us to find out what dive site options we have available!
The Tour at a Glance
Inclusions:
• All necessary dive equipment and gear (excl. booties and gloves, can be purchased at our dive store)
• Transportation to and from dive sites
• Air fills
• A local dive guide
• Storage area for personal belongings
• Changerooms and hot showers
Important Notes:
• Participants must be a minimum of an Open Water Certified Diver and will be required to present proof of their certification on arrival.
• Minimum of 3 participants for activity to run
• During Off Peak Season private tours are available – Private Guided Dive
• Dive and travel insurance are highly recommended.
• Dive medical forms and liability forms are to be filled out before beginning your dive.
